Ken Papaleo: X Marks the Shot: Painting B & W photos by only using handmade Q Tips, as my brush.

Painting B & W photos by only using handmade Q Tips, as my brush.

Each year, around this time, I publish my latest hand painted pieces. After shooting the image, I get a B & W print made. Using Marshall's Photo Oil Colors and hand made Q Tips, I paint the photo. Once the piece is finished a high end scan is made. This file is then used to make limited addition prints (100) for sale. If you see anything you like, give me a call.

About Me

My photo
Evergreen, Colorado, United States
I worked for the Rocky Mountain News for 28 years, until they went out of business. I now do freelance work, post this weekly blog, ski and play with my four grand children. I still have the love to get out and take photographs, which brings me great peace and comfort.
