Challenge.
I was off to take photos of the rising Harvest Moon but there was a lot of cloud cover. I have learned from experience, you go anyway and see what happens.
Solution.
What happened, the clouds got thicker and real scary looking. I was facing east, from Lookout Mountain Road, taking photos as the clouds did their thing. During any landscape shoot, I always take a look behind me, just in case. This time I was very surprised, right above me, what looked like a funnel, was dropping out of the cloud ceiling. It almost touched the ground before it dissipated. The main point of this blog is not to let the weather change your mind about going on a shoot. Go and see what you come up with. I never did see the moon that night, but being out there, gave me the opportunity to get some real nice cloud shots. I love clouds, their like fingerprints, no two are ever the same.
