LOCATION.
1. Squaw Pass can be found off the Evergreen Parkway.
2. The road loops around and comes out in Idaho Springs.
3. This is a good local trip to view the aspens, avoid weekends if possible.
THE CHALLENGE.
I was going to be really tied up the week before the 2012 Artists of Evergreen Open Door Studios Tour so I wasn't going to have much time to shoot this weeks blog.
SOLUTION.
I decided to go back to Squaw Pass and shoot the same aspen area as last week, just to see what changes had taking place in one weeks time. The color area had increased to about 50% but I noticed areas that had color last week, were now loosing their leaves. So I believe this section will never be filled with full color this year.
