1. Drive time from Denver to trailhead parking lot about 2 and 1/2 hours.
2. Get off I-70 at the top of Vail Pass, at the rest area, take dirt road, Shrine Pass, to Shrine Mountain
    trailhead parking lot on the left. 
3. Always bring appropriate clothing for weather changes, water, and food.
4. Trail can be crowded but by leaving late like I did, around 3 pm, I passed everyone coming down
    as I was going up.

2. Exit off  I-70 at the Bakerville exit, #221
3. Four wheel drive is best for this road.
4. Avoid weekends if you can.
5. Parking lot fills fast, get there early.
