Last week I made trips to Idaho Springs, Georgetown and Silver Plume. My main goal was to take pictures of old historic buildings.  My "X Shot" was found in Georgetown, on a nice sunny day. Looking at the buildings in the shade you could see the sunny ones, across the street, reflecting nicely in the dark windows. The glow from those buildings also lit up the store fronts.

I had somethings to do in downtown Denver and decided to shoot a blog. With most of the buildings having glass exteriors, reflections were everywhere. The best way to photograph this is to look at the shady side of a building. The structures behind you should be shinning nicely from the sun and will show up in the dark glass. While I was taking pics, security guards would come up to me and ask what I was doing or tell me I wasn't allowed to take pictures of their building. I was on a public sidewalk were everything is fair-game. They had now right to question me and I told them so, then I went back to shooting.
