During my recent tripe to Rocky Mountain National Park I came across these two turkeys early in the morning. They were right on the road when I came upon them. They stayed there as I drove along beside them, stoping to take photos. Don't know why they didn't run away but it gave me many opportunities for taking photos.

Just finished a photo shoot at Rocky Mountain National Park. While there I photographed a group of birds fighting for a spot on this Bull Elk. I was using my 500 mm lens, with a 1.4 converter, on a tripod. During the shoot, the birds just showed up. Here are the rest of the images.

I haven't been to the Pawnee National Grassland for about 8 years and decided to head that way. The last visit surprised me with the finding of wind farms to the north of the Pawnee Buttes. Knowing the area I knew of a place on road 685 where you could go fare enough north to get the farm out of the horizon. Upon arriving at this site, a sign and barricade blocked my way, revegetation area. So now the only clear shots of the buttes were gone. These things are here, just like trees in the mountains. Thinking this way I started to use the towers as part of my images.
