Hayman Burn Area, Deckers, Colorado.

"X Shot" information.
Camera - Canon EOS 5D Mark II
ISO - 400
Shutter - 1/125 sec.
F/stop - 22
Lens - 70/200 zoom

LOCATION.
1. This location is North west of Deckers, near Cheeseman Reservoir, on Forest Road 211.
2. Drive time from Denver is about one hour.
3. Good idea to have four wheel drive.

CHALLENGE.
Last summer I did a blog on this area and noticed that the burnt trees didn't stand out to good against the ground. I decided to come back in the winter, with snow on the ground and shoot again. The trees should be more visible against the white snow.

SOLUTION.
I went back yesterday, after a small snow storm. It was very clear, you could see a long way. The trees stood out nicely! I used a large depth of field, so tress and the mountains, were all in focus.
