Ken Papaleo: X Marks the Shot: Some Snow In The Foothills, Finally!

Some Snow In The Foothills, Finally!

"X Shot" information.
Camera - Canon EOS 5D Mark II
ISO - 100
Shutter - 1/125 sec.
F/stop - 16
Lens - 16/35 zoom

I had been waiting to photograph some snow and this week we finally got some, not very much but enough to get me out there. With not much time availible I did a quick trip in the local foothills of Evergreen, Colorado. My "X Shot" was found at Red Rocks Park, at the thearter area. The fresh snow covered the setting area, creating nice leading lines to the red rocks in the background. Using a large depth-of-field, the complete image was in focus. The other thing I liked was, just three colors dominated the image.
