Ken Papaleo: X Marks the Shot: Colorado Feature Photos and Some Good Tips.

Colorado Feature Photos and Some Good Tips.

"X Shot" information.
Camera - Canon EOS-1D Mark II
ISO - 200
Shutter Speed - 1/1000 sec.
F/stop - 5.6
Lens - 70/200 zoom

Feature photography is one of my most favorite things to shoot. It's basically a, real, found situation that holds the viewers attention. When I worked for a newspaper I would go out and drive around, just looking for anything that caught my eye. Parks are good for this! Many times nice features are found at all kind of events. The key here is to be ready to shot! Just like most other types of photojournalism, the opportunity doesn't last long.

About Me

My photo
Evergreen, Colorado, United States
I worked for the Rocky Mountain News for 28 years, until they went out of business. I now do freelance work, post this weekly blog, ski and play with my four grand children. I still have the love to get out and take photographs, which brings me great peace and comfort.
